Afghanaid partners with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation on the CARE project (Community Assistance: Recovery and Empowerment), comprising two components spanning two provinces. The first component focuses on earthquake relief in Herat, while the second component emphasises women's empowerment in Badakhshan. This involves offering training sessions in business development, bookkeeping, saving and loan management, business plan writing, marketing and market linkage and distributing micro-grants to support entrepreneurial endeavours for Afghan women.
